The HiTi P310W and P322W use a matched dye-sublimation paper-and-ribbon system rather than liquid ink cartridges. During printing, the printer transfers individual color layers onto the photo paper and then applies a protective finishing layer.
Each media pack contains the ribbon and corresponding quantity of paper needed for a predictable number of prints. When one pack is finished, the operator replaces both components with a new matched set.

Storage and Handling Recommendations
Store unopened media in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture and dust. Leave each paper pack sealed until it is ready to be installed.
Avoid touching the printable surface of the photo paper. Install the paper and ribbon from the same media set together, and do not combine partially used supplies from different packs.
