How to Set Up the DNP WCM Plus

Exact screens and options can vary depending on firmware and the device being used, but the basic workflow is straightforward.

1. Connect your DNP printer.
   Connect a compatible DNP printer to one of the WCM Plus USB printer ports.
2. Power on the WCM Plus and printer.
   Allow the devices to initialize and confirm that the printer is ready before attempting to send a print.
3. Connect your device to the appropriate network.
   Depending on your setup, connect through the WCM Plus hotspot or the network configuration you have established.
4. Select the photo and printing workflow.

DNP lists the WCM Plus transfer time for a 4×6 image at approximately 10–12 seconds.

This figure should not be confused with the printer's own mechanical print speed. The WCM Plus first handles the wireless transfer and print-job workflow; the connected DNP printer then produces the physical photograph according to that printer's specifications and settings.

DNP states that the DS620A can produce 6×14 and 6×20 panoramic photographs using standard 6×8 media when the printer is running firmware version 1.52 or later and is used with the WCM Plus or DNP Hot Folder Print version 2.2 or later.

This can expand the DS620A beyond traditional event print sizes without requiring a separate panoramic paper format.
