With print speeds as fast as 8.9 seconds and a unique roll-fed printing method, the DS40 can print up to 400 4”x6” prints before a media reload is necessary. The printer can also produce high-quality 5”x7” and 6”x8” images—all available in a glossy or matte finish.
The DS40 features a front-loading ergonomic design and uses a donor ribbon with color dye and a lamination coating to transfer vibrant color to a high gloss paper roll. A protective lamination layer provides resistance to fading, fingerprints, water, and dust ensuring the life of the print is extended from years to decades.
